Foldy Pets on iPhone Duo.
On iPhone Duo, the fold is how you look after your Foldy. Close it to tuck your companion in, peek through the crack, and unfold it to see what it dreamed.
iPhone Duo is available from 23 October 2026. Foldy Pets is already on the App Store, so your companion can be ready for your first night together.

Close the fold: tuck it in
With Foldy open, close your iPhone Duo. A couple of seconds later your companion curls up on the outer display and falls asleep, and a rest begins. While you are away it gathers 1 stardust for every 2 minutes, up to a gentle daily limit.
From Foldy 1.1, the hinge is also a dimmer. As you close the fold, the room dims and any sleep sound you are playing softens with it, until the fold shuts and your Foldy drifts off.
Open it a crack: a peek
Open the fold just a little to look in on your Foldy. It opens one sleepy eye; close the fold again and it settles back to sleep, with the rest still going.
From Foldy 1.1, you get one look per rest. Your Foldy stirs, finds you and settles; a second look wakes it up, and it keeps everything it gathered.
Unfold: wake to a dream
Unfold your iPhone Duo and your Foldy wakes up. After a rest of 20 minutes or more, it has a dream to show you: a new constellation for your night sky. Over time, rested hours fill its Glow until it evolves from glowing pixels into light.
Half open: its room stands up
Stand your iPhone Duo half open and your Foldy’s little room stands up with it. With Foldy Pro, a half-open Duo becomes a Nightstand while you rest and charge: a dim clock, your sleeping friend and sound controls.
Designed and tested in the simulator
We designed and tested Foldy’s fold features in Apple’s iPhone Duo simulator. iPhone Duo is not available until 23 October, so we have not tried them on the real phone yet. If anything feels different on yours, tell us at [email protected] and we will look into it.
